I Gotta Be Me: Aligning Your Values and Words
When what you say reflects what you truly value, you build trust within others, reduce internal conflict, and make clearer decisions. This week teaches you how to intentionally craft your words to help drive action.

Making Sure That You Sound Sure: Reliability and Validity of Your Spoken Words
Language aids in shaping our decisions, relationships, and character. When you sound sure, listeners are more likely to trust, act, and engage. But sounding sure isn’t the same as being accurate or truthful. Our last week teaches you how to be both sincere and responsible, with an emphasis on reliability and validity.
Meet Your Instructor
Rev. Dr. Bertice Berry
Sociologist Bertice Berry, PhD. is a best-selling author and award-winning lecturer and has been named Comedian of the Year, Lecturer of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year. She has published 14 best-selling books in both fiction and non-fiction and has won numerous awards and accolades for both her writing and presentations.
Berry has had her own nationally syndicated television show and has hosted, interviewed, and made numerous television, documentary, and radio appearances across a variety of venues, including The Tonight Show, Oprah Winfrey, Between The Lions, Crossfire, 20-20, NPR, PBS, Comedy Central, and CNN.
Berry has used her unique gifts and talents as a writer and ghost writer for others on a wide range of topics including race and gender issues, sociological studies, stratification, healthcare reform, humor, spirituality, sexuality, slavery and the abolitionist movement, weight loss and wellness, relationships, servant leadership, transformational leadership, belonging and love.
Berry was honored by Savannah Technical College when it named its Change and Transformation classrooms after her, and has been awarded more than 10 honorary doctorates. She earned her own doctoral degree from Kent State University at the age of 26. Berry was awarded Kent State's Oscar Ritchie Distinguished Alumni Award, and still sees one of her most fulfilling achievements and roles in life as that of mother to her 5 adopted children.
She was recently awarded The Cisco Culture Champion Award and has been ordained into the Diaconate in the Episcopal Church.

How do I join the Single Course or One-on-One Session?

All courses and sessions are conducted virtually over Zoom. A link will be sent to the email address listed on your checkout form a couple of days before your meetings begin.
How many Single Course sessions can I join?

Single Course sessions are held weekly for one month. You can join on the scheduled weekly dates at either 10 AM EST or 1 PM EST.
Do I have to join the live course sessions to receive the recordings?

You do not have to join the live course sessions to receive the recordings. All recordings are delivered via email after live sessions, regardless of your attendance.
